Concert Choir is made up of 4th and 5th graders at John Greer Elementary and is directed by Rochelle Morgeson.  The choir meets twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:15am.  Students focus on building strong vocal fundamentals through warm-ups, solfege, and sight reading, while also enjoying the experience of singing songs together. They perform at the Winter Concert in December and the Spring Concert in May.  A selected few students participate in the Illinois District 3 Elementary Choir in November.  Beyond learning music, the choir provides a fun and supportive environment where students grow closer as a group and share the joy of making music.  There is no participation fee for joining this group.
