Honest Water Co of Austin ("Honest Water Co," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Iron E Solutions LLC, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.honestwaterco.com (the "Site"), request a quote, schedule service, or otherwise interact with our business, and how we use, share, and safeguard that information.
By using our Site or services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.
We collect information in three ways: (a) information you provide directly, (b) information collected automatically when you use the Site, and (c) information from limited third-party sources.
When you submit a quote request, schedule a consultation, or contact us, you may provide:
First and last name
Phone number and email address
Service address, city, or general area
The type of water system you're interested in
Details about your home's water concerns, water source (city or well), and any notes you choose to share
Any other information you voluntarily provide in messages or conversations with us
When you visit the Site, our servers and limited analytics tools may automatically log standard technical information, including:
IP address and approximate geographic location
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URL
Date and time of access
We may receive information from service providers we work with — for example, review platforms (such as Google reviews you publicly post about us), advertising platforms that report aggregated campaign performance, and payment processors that confirm a transaction has been completed. We do not buy personal information lists from data brokers.
We use the information we collect for legitimate business purposes, including to:
Respond to your quote request, schedule a consultation, and follow up about your inquiry
Provide, install, service, and warranty the water treatment systems you purchase
Communicate with you about appointments, service visits, invoices, and warranty work
Process payments and maintain billing and service records
Improve the Site, troubleshoot technical issues, and understand how visitors use our content
Send service-related notices (e.g., installation confirmations) and, where permitted, occasional updates about products and promotions
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, employees, and business
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
Service providers. Trusted vendors who help us run the business — for example, hosting providers, email and SMS delivery tools, scheduling software, accounting and payment processors, and installation subcontractors — receive only the information they need to perform their work for us.
Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, and insurers when reasonably necessary.
Legal compliance. When required to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Honest Water Co, our customers, or the public.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
With your consent. Any other sharing will only happen with your direction or consent.
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working correctly and to understand aggregate visitor behavior. These typically fall into two categories:
Essential cookies needed for basic Site functions, such as remembering that the navigation menu is open on mobile.
Analytics cookies that help us understand which pages people read most and how visitors generally find the Site, so we can make it more useful.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies entirely, some Site features may not function as intended.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you share with us, including HTTPS encryption for the Site and access controls on internal systems. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and any personal information you share with us confidential.
We keep your personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to service your warranty for the life of your system, to respond to a future service request, and to comply with tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.
You have the following choices regarding your information:
Access and correction. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct inaccurate information.
Deletion. You may ask us to delete personal information we no longer need, subject to legal and warranty recordkeeping requirements.
Marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or using the unsubscribe link in our messages. Service messages related to active installations, appointments, and warranty work may continue.
Do Not Track. Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but we limit tracking to the analytics described above.
Texas residents. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, eligible Texas residents may have additional rights regarding their personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

Our Site may link to third-party websites, including review platforms, social media, and partner pages. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice (for example, a notice on the Site's homepage).
