About me
Reading is one of my greatest passions; I've been an avid reader since childhood. Although I read most genres, I love fantasy and realistic fiction. I used to dream about being a school librarian, but I graduated high school during the dark ages of librarianship. At that time libraries were stuffy, silent places where the only sounds that could be heard was the shushing of the librarian and the hum of the microfiche. Fast forward several years and libraries have evolved into community centers that offer a place for people to collaborate, create, and connect.
Before arriving at Honeoye, I taught middle school, high school, and college level social studies. I taught in France, Wisconsin, and Virginia before returning to NYS in 2019. I have a passion for all things literature and LEGO related and spend my summers sharing those with campers and my two sons!
