Participation Agreements

I agree to show up ready to learn by listening, taking notes, and actively participating in class so that I can shine academically. If I cannot follow through with this agreement I’ll have to be held accountable.

Our Ways:

• If I can’t complete work in class, I will complete my assignments at lunchtime, flex time, or at home with support from my teachers.

• If I am struggling academically, I will ask for help from the teacher, the Teacher-on-Special Assignment, and/or Academic Guidance Counselor.

• If I continue to struggle, I will then meet with the Principal, the Student Success Team (SST), and my parents to figure out a support plan.

Technology Agreements

I agree to put my cell phone and my headphones away at the beginning of class unless they are being used as tools for a classroom activity. I agree to use computers respectfully by focusing on classwork activities only.

If I need to use my phone for something urgent or expect to communicate with my guardians/parents, then I’ll let my teachers and support staff know ahead of time.

Interactive Math Journal

Your notebook is a chance for you to shine and be creative! It is an opportunity for reflection and to document what you are learning. We will use your note book everyday.

You are expected to:

• Take care of your notebook and bring it to class every session

• Put all assignments and worksheets in your journal

• Keep your journal organized and be as creative as you want.
