About Mrs. Dornbos

My Career:

I have a Bachelor's degree in Art with a minor in Secondary Education and Middle School Math. I have been teaching art for over 10 years at many different levels. I have experience in the high school, elementary school, and now I am happy to be part of the Homer Junior High family. I am excited for this school year and see what wonderful art our students will create.

About Me:

I have a wonderful husband and 2 amazing children who keep my life busy and filled with laughter. You will almost always see me starting the day with a large cup of coffee and I love anything chocolate...especially cake!

My favorite art mediums are acrylic paint and ceramics. I have worked with many individuals and businesses to create commissioned artwork over the years. During my time off, you will find me browsing on Pinterest, working on home projects, painting, or watching The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross.
