Will my child have a device to help with online assignments during remote learning?
Will my child have a device to help with online assignments during remote learning?
Yes! All students have been issued a district Chromebook (2-12) or Chrometab (K-1). Students in grades 5-12 currently bring these devices home with them every night. Students in grades K-3 will have their devices sent home in the event of a shut down. Internet access is NOT provided to all students at this time. There are a limited number of devices available for distribution. Please contact the office at 517-568-4464 if you would like to be put on a list to receive a device.
I know that the 100% virtual students are doing all of their classes on Canvas. Will my child use this, too, if the school goes to remote learning?
I know that the 100% virtual students are doing all of their classes on Canvas. Will my child use this, too, if the school goes to remote learning?
Some teachers may choose to use Canvas with their students. If they plan to do this, your child is probably already using it within the in person classroom! Most lessons will be posted through Google Classroom. Be sure to have your child checking their school email and Google Classrooms daily for teacher directions on where to find their lessons!
