Expansion of the Golden Eagles?

The Cortland-Homer Golden Eagles might be expanding for the 2023-2024 season. 

The surrounding schools that are not big enough to house a hockey team might be joining the Golden Eagles. The Athletic Director (AD) for Groton High School has been in contact with the AD’s for Homer and Cortland. 

After the loss of thirteen seniors the Golden Eagles will need all the help they can get. 

Head Coach Paul Quinlan said: “The coaching staff is really excited to get started. We have a young group this year, but a lot of raw talent. We will look different than the last few seasons with how we play and where we are strong/weak, but we should be able to have a successful season.” 

Spirits are high for what the Golden Eagles have in store this season.
