The Homer Trojans football team hosts Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central this Friday at 7:00pm for Homecoming.
The Homecoming Game will be marked as the most eventful football game at Homer High School this season to date. There will be a Homecoming Parade leading up to the big game and during halftime, the Homecoming Court and Class Banner winners will be announced.
Each year the student section is filled with Homer students cheering on the football team and this year nothing less will be expected. For this game, the student section’s theme will be: White Out, and all students are asked to wear all-white clothing or Homer Blue Pride colors.
In advance of the big game, Homer Senior Jeffery Stauber said: “I think we are going to absolutely destroy SIT.”
Homer Senior, Jackson Henderson, a member of Homer’s Honor Society said: “This year’s homecoming is shaping up to be the best in a while. With many clubs and organizations participating in the parade, the finishing touches being added to class banners, the new and improved spirit week lineup, and the building excitement for the game and dance, the week before and the night of will be a showcase of crazy amounts of school spirit.”
Following the game there will be a Homecoming Dance at the high school from 9pm-11pm, with a $5 admission charge. All high school students are welcome.
