As the class of 2026 settles their way into the high school, they have definitely faced surprising challenges. A setting of opportunities has come upon them, which might make it difficult to adjust into. Various things such as new hallways, new people, and new teachers could put a scare on anyone. However, most of these bright young students haven’t run off yet, and they’re excited for change!
These fresh students walked into their new school with either hope or fright. New beginnings can be startling for anyone, especially when you’re unaware of what's ahead of you.
Isabelle Brown was asked how her freshman experience was going and what her thoughts on the high school were. “Good,” she stated. “It seemed like the high school was big to start, but now that I know my way around, it’s not that bad.”
Expectations and thoughts about this new school passed over students' minds as well. “We have more accessibility here,” Liam Mackey proclaimed. “I thought teachers were going to be more strict but they’re a lot more lenient than I thought.”
Other freshmen also agreed with Liam’s claim, saying they enjoy more freedom and having a chance to prove responsibility. Freshmen cannot wait for what's ahead of them at the high school. The chances for success, Blue Pride, and leadership excite a lot of them. Keep it up ‘26!
