This Friday, September 13, Homer football is playing their first game on Butts Field. Kickoff starts at seven, and it is expected to be a good game against Syracuse IT. Student admission will be #3 at the door, and free food and drinks will be provided. As is tradition, high school students will be seated in the student section on the far side of the bleachers, and the pep band will be playing throughout the first half.
Students will also be wearing their Hawaiian costumes to show school spirit, and the Homer cheerleaders should be in attendance to support the team. After the game, there will also be the Back to School Dance, hosted by the Link Crew upperclassmen to celebrate the incoming freshmen. The dance goes from 9-11, and Mr. Young will be taking any request for songs.
Good luck Homer football, and students don’t forget to come and support!
