Every year, Homer High School is lucky enough to be exposed to different cultures through our Rotary Youth Exchange students. This year,Yuma Kitano will be at Homer High school. He hails from Japan, and he is excited to learn about American culture and the English language. Yuma is from the Osaka prefecture of Japan, where he attends the equivalent of high school. School in Japan is very different, but Yuma is looking forward to his time here.
Yuma is a part of the boys Varsity Soccer Team this Fall. He is quickly learning about small town American high school life. His English is improving by the day, and he is enjoying his time here. Make sure to give Yuma a warm welcome to Homer High School!
