Joseline obtained her undergraduate degree in General Psychology from Norfolk State University in 2002. Joseline earned her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University in 2007. She is currently working on her Doctoral Dissertation. Joseline is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is experienced working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Joseline has worked with individuals and families affected by substance abuse, mental health disorders, dual/ triple diagnoses (mental/substance/medical) as well as custody/ legal issues during her career with various systems in the counties of Arlington and Fairfax, and Prince William, Virginia and in the District of Columbia. Joseline has utilized her skills in the hospital, residential, and community mental health settings. She continues to enjoy working closely with other providers in both the school and community mental health systems.
Joseline has a strong background in Counseling Psychology Education and Clinical Supervision and is a Board Approved Supervisor for licensure in Virginia (Counseling). She has worked in the intensive home-based counseling industry for over a decade. She uses both directive and non-directive play therapy techniques with young children, and adolescents as well as solution-focused brief therapies and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques while working with adolescents and adults. Joseline enjoys working with individuals, families, and couples to develop a healthy dynamic. Joseline specifically focuses on identifying root issues and developing skills to improve communication in fractured relationships.

Outpatient Therapist, LPC
Yvetta obtained her Psychology degree from Neumann University in 2005. Yvetta continued her studies at Neumann and obtained her Master’s in Clinical Counseling in 2013. She obtained her license in Professional Counseling (VA) in 2020.
Yvetta loves working with children, teens, adults, and families. Yvetta believes the therapeutic process increases self-awareness, self-advocacy, motivation, personal growth and can decrease symptoms to create a more positive and meaningful life experience. She works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, autism, family relational problems, behavioral and mood dysregulation disorders. Yvetta utilizes a Family Systems approach and client-centered services to treat the individual and family unit holistically.
With Yvetta's direct approach and realistic optimism, she fosters her belief that people can change their circumstances for the better.
Caren Carter, MA
Outpatient Therapist
Caren is a Mental Health Professional Resident in Counseling. Caren earned her Master’s in Counseling and Development from George Mason University, School of Education in 2016.
She has worked as an intensive in-home specialist and a clinical outpatient. Caren has experience working with at-risk children and adolescents with anxiety, anger, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and behavioral issues. She has worked as a mentor at Youth for Tomorrow, working with youth to provide a solid support system, be a reliable trusted adult in the youth’s life, foster positive peer relations, and set short and long-term goals.
Helping clients to maintain stability within the home and community using psychoeducational methods. Her approach to therapy is person-centered and cognitive behavior, allowing the client to lead the way as the counselor guides them through the therapeutic journey. Also using a holistic approach to counseling by embracing the complete person and showing the connections between a person’s emotions, thoughts, and physical experiences.
