This term, our learning focus is Aotearoa New Zealand history and our own journeys, as we explore where we come from and the stories that shape who we are today.

In our classroom, this means your tamariki will be:

• Learning about NZ history by exploring important events, places, and people that have shaped Aotearoa.
  
  

• Sharing their own stories by learning about their whakapapa, culture, and family backgrounds, and listening respectfully to others.
  
  

• Building understanding and belonging by celebrating diversity and recognising that everyone’s journey is valued.
