Room 1 is a year 4 - 5 class with diverse students who believe they are good Mathematicians, good  Readers and good Writers. 

Room 1 strives to be the best they can be by working together "Ako", sharing ideas and taking ownership of their own learning. 

 We strongly believe in the Learn, Create and share pedagogy. We love sport, we love having fun together.

Hi, good people, I am the teacher in Room1 and my name is Mr Wallace. I am of Australian Aboriginal, Rotuman and Chinese descent. I have been teaching for around 16 years now. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and achieve success. I am passionate about sport and culture. I love art and all the joy and happiness it brings to the students. Together we will strive to become very good mathematicians, readers and writers putting the effort in these areas  into all other curriculum areas and achieving  success. I hope the whanau of every student can work with me, the teacher to make your child(ren) successful this year.
