Spelling Practice at Home ✍️

Helping Your Child with Sounds & Words

1. Say the Sound – E.g., “o” for olive. I say, we say, we all say, you write it.

2. Write the Sound – Follow Casey the Caterpillar for correct letter formation.

3. Learn the Word – Break it into sounds (e.g., ant → ă - n - t). Tap chest for each sound.

4. Blend & Write – Say the word, blend sounds, then write it in their book.

5. Check & Correct – Read together, fix mistakes, and earn stickers for effort!
