Welcome to Room 23!
Room 23 is a vibrant and diverse learning space filled with 25 incredible Year 4, 5, and 6 students—10 boys and 15 girls—each bringing their own unique culture, personality, and strengths. Our class is full of positivity, life, and motivation, with keen learners who strive to excel in everything they do.
Not only have we built a strong bond within our own classroom, but we have also connected well with our peers in Pod Tua, working collaboratively alongside Matua Peter’s and Miss Faaofo’s classes. Together, we are creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where teamwork, respect, and a love for learning shine every day.
We’re excited for an amazing year ahead!

Tēnā koutou katoa and Pasifika greetings to you all.
Fakaalofa atu, ko higoa haaku ko Whaea Donna. I am a proud Niuean, born & raised in South Auckland. I am a mother of five beautiful children, all of whom have had the privilege of attending Homai School. My journey here began as a parent, which gave me a deeper connection to our school community. From there, I moved into a role as a Student Support Teacher (SST), and now I am honored to be your classroom kaiako.
I am excited to work alongside our tamariki and whānau this year as we learn and grow together.
Ngā mihi, and I look forward to an amazing year ahead!
