2025-2026 УЧЕБНЫЙ ГОД

 Школа

В школу принимаются дети от 3 до 17 лет, крещеные в Православной Церкви. Школа работает по субботам с начала сентября до середины мая.  Занятия проводятся в две смены - с 8:45 утра до 1:35 дня. 

Ученики

Дети от 3-4 лет принимаются в детский сад.  Детский сад занимается обучением детей азбуке, развитием навыков письма и рисования, преподаются основы Закона Божия, пение/театр. Старшие дети принимаются в подготовительные классы и с 1-го по 9-й классы.  Во всех классах преподается Закон Божий и русский язык, литературa, а также история и география России и т.д.  

Tuition fees

In the 2025-2026 academic year, school education will cost:

 -$50 non-refundable annual registration fee

             - $1,800 per year if the payment is paid in full before September 30, 2025,

           - $1,900 per year if paid for the first half of the year ($950) by September 30 and for the second half of the year ($950) 

 until January 31, 2026

- $1,600 per year for the second child, $1.5 00 per year for the third and afterchildren

If for any reason you decide to stop attending school during the first month, then you will be refunded all the money minus one month's fee.

If you paid for the year and stopped attending school in the first half of the year, then you will be refunded the money for the second half of the year.

In all cases, the decision to return the money is made individually for each family. All applications are accepted by the administration only in writing addressed to the school principal.

Our school is a parish school, intended for parishioners of the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. A parishioner is an active member of the parish who pays membership fees to the church ($10 per month for workers, $5 per month for retirees and non-workers). 

Tutorials

In the 2025-2026 school year, the textbook fee is $150 ($70 for preparatory classes and kindergarten). A set of textbooks is issued by the school for the entire school year.

At the end of the school year, all textbooks must be returned to the school library by May 31, 2026. If the textbooks are returned in good condition, parents will be refunded $50 or less (depending on the condition of the textbooks). If textbooks are returned after May 31, parents are refunded $30 or less (depending on the condition of the textbooks). In kindergarten and preparatory classes, $70 is payment for materials (photocopies, printouts on a school printer, textbooks and manuals that children use only in the classroom), the money is not refunded.

In the case of lost textbooks, parents pay for each textbook the price at which the textbook was purchased by the school.

School uniform

Students wear a uniform - light top, dark bottom. Children in pre-school and kindergarten are not required to wear uniforms, but students must wear appropriate clothing for parochial school. Girls should wear skirts or dresses, boys should wear long trousers (not sweatpants).

It is not allowed to wear T-shirts/shirts with inappropriate designs/text.

Students' lunch

Children bring their own food. They will be given a long break (25 minutes) for a snack.

Extracurricular activities

Sign up

Student registration for the 2025-2026 school year begins in May. When registering, a questionnaire is filled out (mandatory every year) and a registration fee of $50 is paid for each student who is not enrolled in the school fee.

For students and parents, the Open House will begin at 2 pm on August 17, 2025, Saturday. On this day, you can pay tuition, get textbooks, and meet teachers. 

On the first day of school, it will be impossible to enroll the child in school and receive textbooks.
