Grades 4th thru 8th Google Classroom-

In my classes we use this learning tool a lot for notes, assessments, how to videos, and make up work. This will be a cumulative learning resource as I will be adding to the students classes throughout the year. Please make sure your student is checking the site regularly especially if they are absent for class.

Grade Bands-

Health (K - 3)

Physical Education (K - 3)

Physical Education (4 - 8

For this grade band, we will focus on building fundamental blocks that make up the health curriculum. We will dive into learning more about the human body and how to keep ourselves healthy. We will be learning about topics that may be similar to the older grand band; however, it will be more sample-sized and go over more basic concepts. The class will also be doing a variety of active learning allowing us to engage in their learning by thinking, discussing, investigating as well and creating.

In this section we will be looking to introduce a variety of basic fine and motor skills to various sports to help students to develop these areas. Giving students opportunities to be able to learn from me as well as their classmates will allow for a more cohesive group. I want students to be able to have fun but to understand the importance of developing these basic areas to help them in future lessons that we will have.

This grade band will focus on more team sports and developing advanced skill sets. I want students to be able to establish effective communication skills, understanding the importance of life long help, and develop strategies to the activities we do in the classroom environment. Throughout the year we will have different competitions and activities to challenge the individual students as well as the rest of their classes.
