Hi, I'm Mrs. Zanchelli (or Mrs. Z!) and this will be my third year teaching music at HTS. I am excited to continue to bring music into the lives of our students in new and different ways.
I graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2020 with my bachelor's degree in Music Therapy, and spent two years, including my internship with CSU, working with both geriatric and Alzheimer's/dementia patients. I then spent another year and a half working with children with different neurological and developmental disabilities. I made the switch to music education in early 2022 during that period of time. I have loved working at Holy Trinity, especially because of the strong community surrounding it.
While I'm not at school, you'll find me working at the Yardley Farmers Market, spending time with my husband, or baking up a loaf of bread. You may also see me at a local music store teaching vocal lessons!
As much as possible, I believe learning should be fun! Learning can, and should, be a lifelong pursuit, and I hope to inspire my students to think differently about music. I love to open their eyes to the connections with History, Math, Writing, Art, and Religion and help them to interact in new ways with the music we listen to every day. My training and background in music therapy has shown me just how much music can help and heal us physically, mentally, and spiritually. I believe that a strong background in music truly has the ability to be life changing.
