Hello!

Please see below for the areas of focus in each subject for this month! We will be using March to learn all about Lent and what Jesus experienced leading up to Easter Sunday through lessons, Stations of the Cross, and viewing the Passion Play that our older students put on. We will also celebrate everyone's favorite day here at HTS, Holy Trinity Day, we thank the parents for their hardwork and creativity in this event. Report cards for the 2nd trimester will be going home in mid March as well. 

Academic Focuses for the month in each subject area:

Math : Money; coin identification and value, counting coins, dollar and coin counting, making change, adding two dollar amounts together. 

Grammar : 

Science : Simple Machines/ Light & Sound 

Writing  :  Book Report writing/ Spring unrhymed poems 

Reading/Phonics  :    oy/oi sound/ guided reading - comprehension focus questions 

Social Studies :  St. Patrick's Day/ Map Skills 

   Religion : Reconciliation/ Lent/ Easter Day
