The page for Class KH at Holy Trinity Halstead. All content is initialled by the owner - text with a coloured background is always by KH.

Listen to the end of the current chapter of Kensuke's Kingdom by clicking here. You might want to listen to it a couple of times.

In pairs, imagine what questions Kensuke might have for Michael. Write them down on a named piece of A4, and think about answers from Michael for each of them. (Keep it neat - they're going in your logs...)

Act out a conversation between Kensuke and Michael. One playing the part of Kensuke, the other of Michael.

1) Click on the CODE link above and login using your Google Account.

2) Once you've logged in using your Google Account come back to this page and...

3) ...click on the image below and work through the Play Lab Hour of Code. There's a video first which you could watch together with Mrs Kenny if you wanted... :-)

4) Once you've worked through the Play Lab Hour of Code click on the image below to enter the Play Lab Project. Here you can use the skills you have learned in the Hour of Code to create something for me to see when I am back at school.

5) If you think you've finished work through these questions:

  • Click Run a few times. Look at your project carefully. Is there anything else you could change in the project, or add to it to make it even better?
  • Has someone else clicked Run on your project and given you feedback on your project?
  • Have you reflected on that feedback and made adjustments where necessary?
  • Is your project the best that you can do?

Your project will be saved automatically, but don't forget to give it a name.

If you've definitely finished you can make sure your 5 Level Game in Purple Mash is finished and submitted to the Display Board, and then do anything you wish from the Tabecat page.

See you on Wednesday!

Mr. Handy
