HOMEWORK

About me:  Hello and welcome to my new page.  If you're here, then you probably already know me, but I am Mr. Bishop.  I'm married and have two great kiddos that are ages 3 and 1, and we reside in the Christmas Tree Capital of the World.  

I graduated from IUP in 2007 with a degree in elementary education.  I worked in behavioral health after graduation working individually with children that needed a little more attention.  In 2012 I was hired at Holy Name Elementary where I have been teaching fifth grade ever since!

Outside of school I love all things sports.  I played baseball, basketball, track and cross county as a kid, and still love all of those things now.  I'm a huge Pittsburgh "Yinzer" and cheer for all things black -n- gold whether they are doing well.... or if it's a rebuilding year.  

I spend tons of time outdoors and enjoy hunting deer, bear, turkey, and pheasant.  I am also a very avid trout fisherman.  I love cooking, grilling, canning, gardening, doing yard work and the smell of fresh cut alfalfa!
