Applications (All Classes)
Please be advised that there is currently no availability of places in our school as all classes are full with waiting lists in operation.
Applications should be made online within the time period outlined in the school’s ‘Annual Admission Notice’. This period runs from the ‘Applications Opening Date’ (usually 31st October immediately preceding the applicable school year) up until the ‘Applications Deadline Date (usually the 31st January immediately preceding the applicable school year). Applications made after the Annual Admissions Deadline Date will be categorised as 'Priority 5 - Late'.

The online Application must be fully completed and accompanied by a copy of:
Birth Certificate/Adoption Certificate
Proof of Address (dated within the last 6 months) in at least one of the parent’s/guardian’s name must be provided from one of the following sources only;
• Electricity Bill,
• Gas Bill,
• Correspondence from the Department of Social Protection
• Office of the Revenue Commissioners
Applicants may also be asked to provide official postcode identification in the parent’s name. Applicants are reminded that the burden of proof rests with the applicant to satisfy the Board of Management that they are primarily resident at the address stated on the application. The Board of Management reserves the right to verify to its satisfaction any information submitted. False or misleading relevant information on an application form will deem the application invalid.
The Board of Management may also request additional documentation to verify any matter pertaining to the application. Applicants should note the following;
Failure to supply authentic and genuine items of documentation requested for submission by the ‘Application Deadline Date’ will deem the application invalid and the application will be refused.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify the school of any change to their contact details and that of any other details contained in the online application.
It is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to ensure the documentation requested for submission with the online application is supplied with the application.
The Application will be categorised by Priority, and, in the event that applications for enrolment exceeds the number of places available, the Board of Management, will, when a vacancy arises, apply the prioritised criteria as outlined in Section 6 of the school’s Enrolment/Admission Policy. The outlined Prioritisation applicable to all applicants will be accorded to all applicants when a vacancy arises in that class on or before the last day of that class’ school year.
Summary of Prioritisation Criteria (please consult Section 6 of the ‘Enrolment/Admission Policy’ for full details of Priority Groupings)
Priority 1 - Rathcoole & HFNS Siblings (map 1) priority to the eldest applicant
Priority 2 – Staff of Holy Family NS priority to the eldest applicant
Priority 3 – Saggart Parish (map 2) priority to the eldest applicant
Priority 4 – Outside Saggart Parish priority to the eldest applicant
Priority 5 – Late priority to the eldest applicant
Applications made before the ‘Applications Deadline Date’ will receive a response to that application for enrolment 21 days after the enrolment deadline date as outlined in the Annual Admission Notice. Parents/Guardians who have not received a response to their application by this date, should contact the school immediately.
Applications made any time after the Deadline date will be categorised as ‘Priority 5 – Late applicants with priority to the eldest applicant within each category, when a vacancy arises. Late Applicants will receive a response to that application within 21 days of the date of receipt by the school. Applications made during the summer holidays will be processed when the school re-opens after the summer holidays.
