HOLY CROSS MISSION

Kindergarten Readiness Program
Our program provides a nurturing environment where pre-schoolers-kindergarteners grow and become more aware of the world. Our teachers ensure the dynmaic interaction of cognitive and social/emotional development as well as speech, language, and fine motor skills. Over the course of our three-year curriculum, students become competent and independent learners.
The 3-year-old classroom encourages independence to foster confidence in a school setting.
Pre-K is geared towards children becoming developmentally ready to master the skills needed to enter kindergarten.
Kindergarten provides an academic envirnonment challenging students to reach their potential.

About Mrs. Durdan
My name is Natalie Durdan, and I’m very excited to have you here at Holy Cross. I live in Champaign with my husband Dean, daughters Lydia & Jacqueline, and our puppy Chief. This is my third year teaching at Holy Cross. Prior to, I was a stay at home mom for 9 years, but previously had taught Kindergarten and Preschool. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Illinois State University. Some things I enjoy are spending time with my family & friends, trying new restaurants, and beach vacations.
