Program Goals
Equip students with life-long problem-solving skills, critical thinking capabilities, and creative processing through learning foundational coding languages.
Open student minds to the opportunities that learning to code provides and how it can benefit them now and in the future.
Class Overview
Students will have be able to demonstrate coding skills in the 3 languages to further enrich their understanding and apply the skills to web design, game development, and digital art.

Absence Policy-Parents or guardians must excuse all their students’ absences by calling the office, 432-235-1094. Parents can also email cgonzalez@holycrosschs.org or bring a handwritten note to the office. Please include the student’s full name, and the cause for the student’s absence.
Absent Work - Students will have one day for every day absent to turn in make-up work. Keep in mind that many assignments are scheduled in advance and posted on Google Classroom. Be aware of assignments and due dates on Google Classroom.
Late work will be accepted 3 days late and 75% is the highest grade possible. After 3 days late, the grade will be a zero. Consistent issues with late work will result in a phone call home.

COMPLETION (PROJECTS, TESTS, FINALS) = 25%
