The "General Course" is the London School of Economics (LSE) study abroad program. It allows students from overseas universities to spend a full academic year at LSE. We at HC Study Abroad don't offer any single semester/term options for study at LSE largely due to the fact that most of their modules span the full academic year. However, we also feel you need at least a year to get the most out of LSE and London! You will have access to a full calendar of social events specially designed and subsidized exclusively for General Course students. LSE is just one of many reasons to choose London - the "best student city in the world" - as your study abroad destination. You will be joining a culturally diverse population of 11,000 students, around 70% of whom are from outside the UK, representing over 140 countries.
Academic Year move-in and end dates:

Becoming a Londoner by studying in the heart of London means that the vibrant West End, Theatreland, the Royal Opera House, and the British Museum are all on your doorstep. But so, too, are renowned educational establishments such as the British Library, numerous professional institutes, and the resources of the University of London.
LSE is based on one compact campus in the center of London, surrounded by everything that this great capital city has to offer. Many of the streets around campus are pedestrianized, creating a strong sense of community.
