Ava Cloghessy '24, Political Science, Dance
My name is Ava Cloghessy and I'm a Senior Political Science major and Dance minor. I studied abroad during the Fall '22 semester at University College Dublin in Ireland. One of the things I enjoyed most about studying in Ireland is the landscape and having easy access some of the most beautiful hiking trails and cute costal towns to explore. I went surfing for the first time in Ireland, which is something I never would have envisioned my self doing!

Hello! My name is Ashley O'Brien, I am majoring in both Economics and Psychology and am from Maine! I studied abroad spring 2023 in Dublin, Ireland. While abroad, my favorite takeaways were a love for live music, a newfound confidence in myself, and an awareness of the world that is only possible by being immersed in it.

Hi! My name is Kate McCarthy and I am a political science major, environmental studies and rhetoric & composition minor, from Albany, NY. I spent the fall semester in Washington, DC and in the spring I studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland where I attended Trinity College Dublin. Here at HC I’m a member of SGA and College Democrats. My name is Katelyn and I'm a Neuroscience major form Easton, CT. I spent the spring semester of my Junior year in Dublin, Ireland at UCD. While there, I took classes in Sociology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy. I also traveled to Galway, Cork, and Northern Ireland to see historical sites and old castles.
