My name is Ava Malloy and I am majoring in History and Spanish. I studied abroad in Granada, Spain for the 2024-2025 academic year. While in Granada I enjoyed the many tapas bars, explored the unique neighborhoods like the Albaicin, skied in the Sierra Nevadas and relaxed on the costal beaches not too far away. Granada is a beautiful city that has so much to offer and explore.

My name is Melanie Beato and I recently graduated with a double major in Anthropology and Spanish with a Concentration in Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean Studies.I love traveling because it reminds me that my life isn't the only one I could live. The chance to step out and explore and experience elsewhere gives us perspective and often provides new lenses with which we can see and think about who we are, what we are doing with our lives and what we care about. I love that a totally new perspective makes me reconsider my priorities and allows me to recenter myself.
