What makes us so special?
Reception is an exciting year to be in! We continue the learning we started in Nursery and welcome more children into the class. We continue to grow our independence skills throughout the indoor and environments.

Reading
Children are given a variety of texts which begin with picture books to start the conversation between parent and child, promoting a love for reading. We move our children on to simple texts which enables them to develop their knowledge of phonics, helping them to prepare for life as a Reception child.
