Please have students wear sticker name tags. It helps our students be able to interact with your students and call them by name. If you do not have access to name tags, please email onejam@holmen.k12.wi.us by May 1st and she will send you some blanks.
Objective:
Holmen FFA AG DAY! is an educational program focusing on agricultural literacy in elementary schools and communities. It is a program developed to assist FFA members and all agricultural education students in leadership skill development as they reach out to youth, peers and their entire communities by sharing the world of agriculture.

What to expect...
Holmen AgriScience students and FFA members teach 4th grade students from our and neighboring districts about agriculture through a day long educational field trip to several farms and agribusinesses. Species might include but are not limited to: cattle, horse, swine, sheep, goats, llamas, dogs, cats, wildlife, ect.
Topics to expect:
Average day in the life of that animal
Purpose and uses of that animal and its by products
Wisconsin economy influences
Career connections
Animal health practices
