Our catalog is online in Accessit. See a book you want to borrow? Place it on hold; when you get the "It's ready!" email, swing by 117 to pick it up!

Accessit is our new online library management system. Click the blue button at the top of any of the library website's screens to head over to Accessit.
Students must "Login with Google" in order to use Accessit.
There are two ways to place holds:
Drag the book cover onto your "Holds" area (beneath the Accessit search bar).
Click the cover of the book. Click the "Make a hold" button. Click the blue "Hold" text that appears.
After your hold is placed, Dr. T will bring you your book, usually within 24 hours.
There are often multiple people trying to check out the same book. If you place a hold and don't get it right away, you are probably on the "wait list" for that book.
You can see your place on the "Hold" list for a book by going to "My Borrowing Details" and hovering over the book you have on hold - it will show you what place in "line" you are for that book.
The easiest way to see what you have on hold or what is checked out to you is by clicking on your name and selecting "My Borrowing Details".
If you have any Holds that haven't yet been fulfilled, you'll see a "Holds pending" icon in this area. Click on it to view the Holds you've placed. To cancel a Hold, simply hover over the material and clicking the "Cancel Hold" button that appears.
After logging in to Accessit, go to "My Borrowing Details". Click on the "Curents loans" icon. If you haven't finished your book by the end of your loan, you can hover over the title and click "Renew".
NOTE: You can only renew a book if no one else has the book on Hold, and you can only renew one time. After that, you need to see Dr. T about checking the book out again.
Quick Lists are lists made by your teachers & librarians. They're easy to view, and allow you to quickly find particular titles and place them on Hold.
"My List" lets you create your own lists of items from the library's collection that you want to come back to in the future.
NOTE: No one can see your lists except you, unless you use the "Get link" option and then paste it into a message to someone.
You can make as many different lists as you'd like. You can also revise your lists and re-save them, or rename them.
Drag and drop items to "My List" to begin creating a list.
Click on "My List" to see what books you've added, and to access the menu of list options.
Use the menu in My List to save, delete, or get the link for your list. (You can email others your list link, and they'll be able to see the list!)
Use "Load" in the My List menu to access lists you already created.
If you load a list, you can add more items to it - just make sure you Save it when you're done!
Accessit allows you to create a list of "My Interests" - authors, genres, series, or subjects that you like. Once you have set up "My Interests", any time new materials are added that match any of your interests, you'll get a notification.
You can also click into your "My Interests" list in "My Borrowing Details" and place holds on any titles that look interesting!
Accessit is connected to our MackinVIA titles, which allows you to search for titles within Accessit, then instantly open MackinVIA items to listen to audiobooks, or to read ebooks. You still get full access to MackinVIA's tools - you can take notes and place bookmarks, and MackinVIA will remember where you left off, so the next time you open the item, it'll be ready to go!
You can view the books you've previously borrowed, then rate and/or review them!
Go to "My Borrowing Details" and click "Loan History". Scroll to see the titles you've borrowed. Click "Write a Review" to rate or review a book you've read.
Click on the book you want to rate and/or review, then click on the "Write a review" button. Add your review and/or rating. You can save a draft to work on more later, or submit your review for publication.
Other Accessit users looking at that book's entry will be able to see your rating and review, along with your first name.
Not sure EXACTLY what you want? Feel like browsing topics or formats you usually like? Try out Visual Search!
Here's a tutorial that you can use INSIDE Accessit to see how Visual Search works! (Click "Take this tutorial inside Accessit" in the upper-right corner of the tutorial window to follow the steps while using Accessit; or just walk through the tutorial in its window.)
Any time you are doing research, start in Accessit!
Google gives results in order of sponsored and most popular pages - but "popular" doesn't mean "reliable" or "accurate".
When you search in Accessit, you can see what resources are immediately available within the school.
But you can ALSO easily search several reliable resources for your topic with just one click!
After doing a search in Accessit, look to the left side and click "One Search". A list of reliable sources will appear. Click any one of them to see what information those sources can provide about your topic.
