About Me

Welcome to 5th Grade! My name is Ms. Deutschmeister and I am one of your child’s science teachers this year! I am filling in for Ms. Nicole Clifton while she is on leave and I will be working closely with Mr. Thomas Woods.

 I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2022 with my Bachelors of Science and again in 2023 with my Masters in Special Education. This is my first post-graduation teaching position and I am so excited to be doing it in Holmdel! I believe in positive reinforcement and I have a passion for Social and Emotional Learning. I want your child to grow academically, but I also want them to grow as a human being. I did my student teaching experience with 3rd graders and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to expand my horizons with older students. 

I look forward to developing relationships with my students early on so I want to share a little about myself! I recently moved to Ocean Township and I love being so close to the beach! I love to go on hikes and to spend time with my family. I am a huge music lover and Taylor Swift fan! I like to mix fun into all aspects of my life and teaching is no different for me!

I plan to utilize Google Classroom and Google Sites to post classroom assignments, homework, and other important information! I am reachable by email and I am more than happy to schedule phone calls/ in person meetings throughout the year as per request. Please do not hesitate to reach out!
