Hello Families!

My name is Mrs. Hartman and I am SUPER excited to be your teacher this year!

I'm happy to share a bit about me. This is my eighth year teaching in Holmdel. I graduated from Monmouth University with a Master of Arts in Teaching and hold a dual certification in K-6 general education and special education, with an additional certification in English (K-12).  Since I absolutely LOVE teaching math, I am also currently in the process of obtaining a middle school math certification. I earned my bachelor's degree from Villanova University and am a proud member of the Nova Nation!

Speaking of proud...I am a proud mom to four boys ages 25, 22, & 21 year-old twins and a proud stepmom to a daughter (and son-in-law) and a son (and daughter-in-law.) I am over the moon to share that I am also a proud grandma!!! I have two grandsons, Bobby and Zachary and a granddaughter, Ellie. This little crew brings so much fun and happiness and have truly made our family complete!

My life experiences up to now brought me to the decision to become a teacher and it was one of the best decisions I ever made! I am eager and excited to work collaboratively with our families to build a strong classroom community, highlighted by an engaging learning environment. I extend my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to teach, as well as learn from your children and look forward to a wonderful year!

Love,

Mrs. Hartman
