This course is designed to promote a deeper understanding of personal financial literacy and the fundamentals of economics. The course will seek to develop student’s skills and strategies that promote personal and financial responsibility related to financial planning, savings, investments, and charitable giving in the global economy. After students have become thoroughly acquainted with the personal financial literacy, the focus of the course will switch to include an in-depth analysis of economics, long-term financial planning, and civic financial responsibility, including risk management and insurance. Students will learn skills that are critical to our current and future economical demands.
