Star Student

Each week we will be celebrating a "Star Student." The Star Student is someone who is a kind and responsible friend. This student completes their homework, is kind to their friends, and is a model of what a Star Student should be.  Every day during the week the student will have an event that honors them. The Star Student will be announcing the Friday before and they will be given a calendar of events and their poster that they are to complete over the weekend to share with the class the following week. As part of each student's homework for the week, they will be writing a letter to the Star Student that week about why they think the Star Student is so special and why they deserve to be the Star Student. The Star Student's family will also write letters for the student to read that week. All of these letters will go home with the student at the end of the week in a folder that they can keep. 

Star Student Events:

• Monday - The Star Student will show the class their Star Student poster that they made over the weekend. This will get hung up on our Star Student Board.

• Tuesday - The Star Student will bring in photos of themselves, their family, friends, pets, etc. that they will show to the class. This will also go on the Star Student Board.

• Wednesday - The Star Student will bring in an item for Show and Tell.

• Thursday - The Star Student will read the letters that their family and  the class wrote for them.  

• Friday - The Star Student will run the Savare Store.
