Throughout the school year, students will utilize the three-dimensional framework of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science to carry out investigations of phenomena.
Science is a way of exploring and relating to our world. Students will be able to develop process skills while actively investigating concepts and evaluating the results of their investigations. Students will develop critical thinking skills and scientific reasoning skills as they respond to higher-level questions that introduce and conclude every activity, lesson, or investigation.

Major Assessments (unit tests, projects/presentations, labs, CERs) 50%
Minor Assessments (quizzes, exit tickets, notebook checks) 40%
Academic Responsibility (homework, participation, preparation) 10%
