We use the Chromebooks for a majority of assignments but a binder and pocket folders will also help you stay organized. You will also need the following: pencils, colored pencils, ear buds (bring daily), highlighters, calculator, etc.
70% Major Assessments (Tests, quizzes, labs)
30% Minor Assessments (Classwork, homework, etc)
My policy for late work is a 10 point deduction for each day.
Yes, there will be study guides for tests. These study guides will be designed to help you stay organized and focused on the material, but you should also review any notes, handouts, web links and videos provided during the unit.
Extra help begins mid September, look for the announcement and I will let you know which days I will be staying.
Yes, we will be doing many labs and projects in class. Some labs/projects take several days or weeks to complete and may need to be completed at home.
Yes, I use the computer daily for notes to be displayed on the projector screen. I also use my website and Google Classroom.
I will post homework, notes, and a schedule of important due dates on my web site. You can always email me about missed work.
