Highlights of recent upgrades to the Holliston Public Schools network:
New firewalls with improved security installed at the Woodland and Holliston High Campus
More reliable ISP connections
State of the art wifi access points for Placentino & Miller Elementary (October 2021)
New state of the art wifi access points installed at RAMS and Holliston High School (bottom left)
New high density wifi access points added at the Placentino/Miller Cafetorium and Miller Multipurpose Room
Additional high powered external wifi access points installed on each school building
Wifi cabling in all buildings has been upgraded to Cat6 (multiplies prior speeds by four on wifi access points)
RAMS Core Fiber Switch has been upgraded (see picture top left)
10 GB Fiber Modules will be added to the network to increase capacity between buildings and internet traffic ten fold
ISP bandwidth increased at both Woodland campus and Holliston High campus from 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps)
