THE HYBRID MODEL
The Hybrid Model includes 9 hours of live online lessons covering the Hold Fast Education Curriculum and up to 6 hours of face-to-face instruction every week.
This includes 1-1 academic tuition and GCSE catch up sessions, PSHE, and therapeutic and wellbeing sessions.

Wellness Walks
Wellness walks provide an opportunity for students to engage in physical activity while promoting mental well-being through outdoor exploration and relaxation.
Therapeutic Art Sessions
An external provider offers a creative outlet through therapeutic art and craft sessions, providing students with a nurturing environment to express themselves, alleviate stress, and delve into their emotions through artistic exploration.
Sports Coaching
An external boxing coach offers sports coaching sessions that not only enhance physical fitness but also foster discipline, teamwork, and resilience among students, providing a structured environment for skill development and personal growth.
Work Experience
External placements offer valuable work experience opportunities where students can gain practical skills, explore career interests, and develop professional competencies under guided supervision.
PSHE
Hold Fast qualified teachers offer PSHE sessions covering mental health, relationships, financial literacy, and personal development, equipping students with vital life skills and promoting overall well-being and growth.
Peer Mentoring
Hold Fast's qualified teachers and an NHS psychiatrist facilitate peer mentoring sessions, offering students guidance in mental health, relationships, and personal development to foster support networks and promote growth and resilience.
Mindfulness
Hold Fast offers general mindfulness sessions to students, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional well-being through guided practices that cultivate focus and self-awareness.
