HHS Band
In October, we purchased several instruments for band. We also purchased the stands being used.
HHS Fusion
We shared the expense of the charter bus HHS Band and Fusion are using to go to their performances at Universal Studios and Disneyland during spring break.

FEBRUARY
HUSD #3 Governing Board Meeting
On February 13th, the Indian Education Commitee presented at the HUSD #3 monthly governing board meeting held at Indian Wells Elementary school. They spoke about various items we have purchased for schools. This year we had extra funding so we were able to purchase a lot of items for classrooms. Looking into the future, the IEC would like to host more events for families and the community!
Native American Education Summit 2024
On February 2nd, HUSD #3 hosted a Native American Education Summit to share what our district is doing to help meet the needs of our Native students. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend: chapter officials, parents/grandparents, Haskell Indian Nations University, WIHCC Youth Wellness, Dilkon Peacemaking, NSDP, and Tiisyaakin Residential Hall.

Back in December, we approved funding to buy LED screen microscopes for HJHS.
The LED screen allows multiple students to see what's under the microscope at the same time.
