Here at HOBY, "everybody loves everybody", but to have an efficient seminar, we need to follow a chain of command.
Your first contact is almost always your team lead and/or the director you report to. They'll know the answers to questions you will have about your role.
For example, if you have a question about math homework, you'll ask your math teacher, not the school principal. On that note, you wouldn't ask...:
...the Director of Staff what materials you need set up for HOBY Olympics.
...the Director of Operations about your ambassador's allergies.
... the LSC about your missing room key.
This isn't because we don't want to talk to you - one of the best parts of HOBY is connecting as a volunteer staff! But, we need to streamline our questions to the appropriate people. If they do not know, they can escalate your concerns further to find your answer.
Slack is our main communication method during the weekend. If you haven't yet joined, do it now.
