Before you apply, here's some important information π
The 2026 HOBY NY Central seminar is offered in person at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY.
For ambassadors, the seminar will officially begin with arrival to HWS on Friday, June 12, and end with ambassador departure on Sunday, June 14.
ALL volunteers need to arrive at HWS mid-afternoon on Thursday, June 11. The specific arrival time will be provided in the months to come, but anticipate staff arrival between 1-4 pm. Plan your travel and absence at work/school accordingly.
Once arrived, volunteers must be fully committed to the HOBY NYC volunteer schedule. Upon applying for the 2026 seminar, please block these days off in your calendar and plan to remain at the seminar site. Your application is your word that you will lend a hand at HOBY NYC. While we understand that emergencies happen, backing out negatively impacts our ability to deliver the best experience to the 2026 ambassadors.
Volunteers will conclude their roles and depart by 5pm at the latest on Sunday, June 14.

HOBY requires all volunteers to complete the HQ annual HOBY volunteer application.Β

Once you hit submit on your application, you'll automatically recieve a confirmation email.
