The oldest, most celebrated and gigantic festival of the year in Panglao is the “Hudyaka sa Panglao”. It is staged every 28th day of August, showcasing an enriched culture and tradition, customary lifestyle of Panglaoanons, filled with colors and grace that are expressed thru dancing, in honour and in gratitude to the patron, Saint Agustine. Participated by the ten (10) barangays, Poblacion, Doljo, Looc, Tangnan, Bil-isan, Libaong, Lourdes, Danao, Tawala, and Bolod. The festival usually spans several days and features a variety of colorful and vibrant activities that showcase the local culture and traditions.
