Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. All chapters should adhere to the standard guidelines of the Taylor & Francis Group book chapter format.
Manuscript Preparation
Chapters should be between 15-30 pages in length.
Manuscripts that do not follow the prescribed formatting guidelines will be rejected without review.
Authors must ensure their chapter is free from plagiarism. The similarity index must not exceed 21%, including self-sourced content.
Formatting Guidelines
Please submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document.
Authors must use the CRC chapter templates for manuscript preparation (Download MS Word Template)
Manuscripts should be formatted in A4 size, single-column layout, using 12-point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing.
Ensure that references follow a numbered citation style.
Each chapter must include an abstract of approximately 150–200 words.
Since we are working with an international publisher, it is essential to maintain high standards of English.
Chapter titles should be clear, concise, and accurately reflect the main focus of the content. They should align with the proposed book chapter titles outlined in the initial call for submissions. To maintain consistency and coherence throughout the book, editors may adjust chapter titles if necessary.
If the manuscript includes images, these should be submitted in a separate folder as the original separate image files (i.e. the .png/.jpeg etc that you would have inserted into MS Word). We also need you to create alt-text for each image in the manuscript. This is a description for blind or partially sighted people and should be different from the figure caption. You can submit a single Word document containing the alt-text for each image.
Figures should not be directly copied from websites or published research papers. If any external figures are used, proper references must be included.
Do not label the figures by the subsections/subheadings they come under in the word document (e.g. Figure 1.1.3; Figure 1.1.4 etc); just label them in the order they are arranged in each chapter.
If third-party materials are incorporated, authors are responsible for obtaining written permission from the copyright holders to use and reprint the content in accordance with publication guidelines.
A customized Copyright Form and Permission Verification Form (PVF) will be provided to all authors during the final stages of the book submission process.
