EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC TRAINING
"A person is never as close to perfection as when writing a resume" - an unknown author 😉.
He was born in 1976 in Dnipropetrovs'k (now Dnipro). In 1991 he graduated from Vinnytsia Secondary School №31. In the same year, he graduated from Vinnytsia Children's Music School №2, where he had studied since 1983.
From 1991 to 1994 he studied at the Vinnytsia Music College named after M. Leontovych.
From 1994 to 1999, he studied at the Kharkiv I. P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts graduating with honors in the specialty «Folk Instruments» and obtaining the qualification of a concert performer, artist of an ensemble/orchestra of folk instruments, teacher (bayan, accordion).
In 2003, he completed an internship at the Kharkiv I. P. Kotlyarevsky National University, specializing in Folk Instruments, and received a qualification as a Concert Performer and Teacher of a Higher Education Institution.
From 2002 to 2006, he studied in graduate school at H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University (on the job), specializing in 13.00.01 - General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy.
In 2015, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. Theme: "The Development of Music Education in Slobozhanshchyna (the second half of the nineteenth - the beginning of the twentieth century)".
Since 2015 - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. in Pedagogy)
In 2021, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (order of the Ministry of Education and Science №735 of 29.06.2021).
PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
Since 1999, he has been teaching accordion and bayan at the H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, where he is still an associate professor of music.
From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a part-time teacher of accordion and bayan at the Kharkiv Children's Music School No. 6.
From 2014 to 2017, he held the position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts of H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.
He has 25 years of teaching experience at H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

The following e-courses in these disciplines have been created on the Moodle distance education platform. He is the supervisor of the first (Bachelor's) and second (Master's) level of higher education.
Author of more than 100 instrumentations, arrangements and transcriptions for various folk instrument ensembles.
Research interests: music education of Slobozhanshchyna; art education: stage and performance skills of a future music teacher in the context of music and instrumental teacher training, competition and festival movement in Ukraine and abroad. She has more than 30 scientific and educational works published in international and professional editions of Ukraine.
CONCERT AND PERFORMANCE ACTIVITIES
Mykola Danyliuk is an active concert and performance artist as a soloist and ensemble player. Since 1999, he has been the artistic director and a member of the Grotesk Folk Instruments Ensemble. Over the history of its existence, the ensemble has participated in more than 500 concert events, repeatedly performed on the stage of the Kharkiv Philharmonic, Mykola Lysenko National Music and Drama Theater, as well as other prestigious concert halls in Ukraine and abroad. The Grotesk Ensemble has participated in live broadcasts and filming on Kharkiv TV.
Over the years, he has directed student ensembles of various forms, including: Ensemble of Folk Instruments "Vatalinka" (2000-2005), Ensemble of Accordionists "Domino" (2006-2016). Since 2018, he has been the director and member of the student-teacher duo of accordionists "NikOlia".
The students of the class and ensembles under the direction of Mykola Danyliuk are winners of national and international competitions.
He is a laureate of international and national competitions and festivals as a soloist and as a member of the Grotesk Folk Instruments Ensemble. Diploma winner of the 33rd (as part of a duet of accordionists) and 34th (solo) International Competition of Accordionists and Accordionists in Klingenthal (Germany, 1996, 1997). Winner of the III degree of the First Hnat Khotkevych All-Ukrainian Composition Competition (2012). The work "Tell me" (music by M. Danyliuk) performed by an ensemble of folk instruments (2018).
PUBLIC AND ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Since 2013, he has been a member of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union (NAMU).
Since 2018, he has been a member of the board of the Kharkiv regional branch of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union.
Organizer, jury member of national and international competitions, festivals and creative projects.
Director, jury member of «Art-Dominanta» (2013-2024):
She is the director of the International Folk Instruments Performers Competition «Art-Dominanta» , which was established in 2013. Over the entire period of the «Art-Dominanta» competition (2013-2023), more than 5,000 participants took part in it: 2,400 soloists, 600 ensembles and orchestras, and more than 50 jury members from 20 countries: Ukraine, Australia, belarus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Poland, russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, and the United Kingdom.
