In a dedicated planning session, we discuss academic interests, campus preferences, career goals, and other priorities that shape a student’s college experience. After our meeting, we carefully research and curate a customized list of colleges aligned with your student’s strengths, goals, and preferences.

Using the priorities discussed in our Strategic College Match meeting, including academic interests, campus preferences, career goals, and financial considerations, we create a customized list of 20–25 colleges tailored to your student’s profile and goals. Each school is carefully evaluated to ensure a balanced list of colleges where your student can be both competitive and successful.
Through our data platform, families can easily compare colleges across important factors such as academic programs, admission likelihood, cost, and campus environment.

College Exploration & Analysis

Our College Exploration & Analysis process helps students take a deeper look at their options and thoughtfully evaluate each school. Students use a guided worksheet to research their top college choices, explain why each school appeals to them, and reflect on how it aligns with their academic and personal goals. They then present their findings, allowing us to discuss their reasoning and explore each option together.
Students learn how to compare colleges based on fit, programs, and cost. By the end, families feel confident refining the list to a focused group of top schools, ensuring each choice represents a meaningful opportunity for the student’s future.

SAT/ACT Prep
Building Skills and Confidence
Preparing for standardized tests like the SAT or ACT can feel overwhelming for many students. Between learning the test format, strengthening core skills, and finding time to practice consistently, it can be difficult to know where to begin or how to prepare effectively.
Our SAT/ACT preparation approach combines proven online resources with personalized guidance. Through our partnership with Applerouth, students gain access to practice tests with detailed feedback, targeted lessons, quizzes, and instructional videos that help them identify the areas where improvement will have the greatest impact. This allows students to focus their time on the skills that will make the biggest difference in their scores.
Students also have access to guided math resources, including instruction on using tools like Desmos effectively, to help them work through problems more efficiently and save valuable time during the exam. Our independent practice platform allows students to diagnose skill gaps and build mastery through targeted exercises, while we monitor their progress and help keep them on track.
In addition, we provide support for Reading and Writing strategies and recommend trusted resources such as Khan Academy to strengthen foundational math skills.
The result is a structured and supportive approach to test preparation that helps students build confidence, improve their performance, and walk into test day feeling prepared.
College Essays

Students receive personalized feedback throughout the writing process for primary, required, and supplemental essays. We also provide a comprehensive essay notes file that helps students organize ideas and develop strong responses for multiple applications.
For transfer, master’s, and doctoral applicants, we meet individually to review statements of purpose, focusing on clear, concise writing and ensuring the content effectively communicates academic goals and qualifications.

An Application Specialist meets regularly with your student via Zoom to review application requirements, track progress, and ensure each step of the process is completed accurately and on time.
We walk students through each part of the application, from navigating submission platforms to understanding specific school requirements, providing clear, step-by-step guidance along the way.
The result is a smoother, more organized application experience that helps students stay on track, reduce stress, and submit their applications with confidence.
Financial Strategy
Understanding Costs and Expanding Opportunities
The cost of college is one of the biggest concerns for many families. Between tuition, financial aid, scholarships, and changing policies, it can be difficult to determine what college will actually cost and how to make the best financial decisions.
Our Financial Strategy process helps families gain clarity about the real cost of college and the opportunities available to help manage that investment. Using tools such as College Aid Pro’s MyCAP+ platform, families can compare schools, estimate financial aid, and better understand their unique financial outlook.
We also help students identify scholarship opportunities that align with their strengths, interests, and experiences. Because scholarship applications require persistence over time, we guide families in approaching this process strategically rather than treating it as a one-time search.
The result is greater transparency and confidence, helping families understand their options, pursue financial support, and make thoughtful decisions about one of the most important investments in their student’s future.

Our College Decision process helps families carefully evaluate their options. Using tools such as College Aid Pro, we review financial aid award letters, calculate the true cost of attendance for each school, and help families understand the financial impact of their choices.
When appropriate, we also guide families through the process of advocating for additional financial support. Because colleges sometimes have flexibility in their aid offers, knowing how and when to ask can make a meaningful difference.
