Growing up in Sandusky, I spent a lot of time at Cedar Point and swimming with my cousins at my grandparents' house. As a graduate of Sandusky St. Mary's, I enjoyed playing volleyball, softball and being a member of the swim team. After high school I went to Ohio Northern University where I earned a degree in Middle Childhood Education, was a four year letter winner in softball, joined a sorority and met my husband Mike whom I married in the fall of 2005. We have three children Hunter, Mara and Lucas and enjoy golfing, swimming, watching Dude Perfect and playing with our dog Buck.

I began teaching 5th grade at Findlay St. Michael's after college, moving to coach and teach at Hopewell-Loudon in 2006. I earned a masters in Middle Childhood Education from Tiffin University in 2011 and the rest is well...HISTORY!
