Sylt is an island in the North Sea.

It is the largest of the North Frisian Islands. You can go to Sylt by train (Autozug) or plane.

In spring , the temperature is around 10°C and it rains on 9 days per month and often pretty windy.

In Spring, it is too cold to go swimming in the sea, but one can go on walks on the beach and observe seals or porpoises. Surfing is also possible. When the weather is bad, you can visit the sea water swimming pool and the aquarium.

There are several light houses on Sylt, all are very fantastic. In the picture you can see the light house "List-Ost".
