kuyuru is a Tokyo-based five-piece shoegaze/alt-rock band, known for their driving, wall-of-sound instrumentals anchored by Ayana Orito’s fragile, hymn-like vocals. Their live performances—often described as “not just music you hear, but sound you feel”—have earned praise for their immersive sonic impact and emotional depth.

Their 2025 debut album “Lovescape” blends refined shoegaze with post-rock and hardcore dynamics. That same year, they performed alongside U.S. shoegaze band, Mildred, marking kuyuru’s growing presence in the international scene.
