Accompanying the girls in this journey of faith for a year, I would say, ME is more than a religious club, but a place of love and sisterhood, a shelter from stress and a source of strength, a place where life-long friendship begins. Together we grow in maturity and holiness, understanding more about ourselves and getting to know God better. I’m so thankful for the joy and love I’ve experienced from the ME girls. The dedication in their work and service, and their support towards each other have been very impressive 💛

What a grateful experience to witness the growing and transformation process of all the participants in ME. I am in particular moved by the girls' perseverance in building up a great team, a team full of spirit and enthusiasm. I really appreciate their intiative, their positive attitudes, their zeal to strive for better selves, and their generosity to support each other. This is where we all learn to practise our faith: to pray, to love (and to be loved), and to serve. Thanks Mama Mary who has touched all our hearts in this journey of faith.💕

The main purpose of the Legion of Mary is to give glory to God through the sanctification of its members. By doing so, other than reading bible and handbook, we do lots of services inside or outside school.

During our meetings
Due to the pandemic, we meet once a week, either face-to face or online. Discussion and sharing takes up most of the time in our meeting. Apart from that, we also do some planning and says some prayers.
SERVICES
SERVICES
In order to become instruments of the holy spirit, we do various of services like teaching at Sunday schools, kitchen work in charity organizations, cleaning the grotto etc. Most of them are voluntary services.

ME係一個宗教嘅團體，雖然係關於宗教，但當中亦都有非常多好玩，富有意義嘅活動。而就我個人而言，我最鍾意嘅就係Requiem mass。咁點解我會咁鍾意哩一個活動呢？因為喺哩一個活動入面，唔單止我地學校嘅聖母軍團員會參與，區團嘅聖母軍都會參與在內，咁樣我地就可以透過哩一個活動同其他聖母軍嘅團員彼此交流一下。由於你地應該唔清楚哩一個活動係做啲乜嘢，咁就等我嚟解釋一下啦。
Requiem mass嘅中文叫追思彌撒，所有喺區團嘅聖母軍團員都會聚集到聖堂，悼念已亡嘅聖母軍團員。哩一個係ME非常重要且最大型嘅活動之一，所有團員都會被邀請參加。期待下一年可以喺ME哩個大家庭見到大家！

Our club is, in many ways, like a family joined together by our faith. Because of regular meetings where we can get to know each other, we form a special bond between us that’s stronger than most other clubs. I feel that we can be completely open and honest to each other, thanks to sworn secrecy, and it brings a comfortable atmosphere to the structured meetings.
Besides that, we have many activities held outside school as well, such as the requiem mass, where we joined other members of Legion of Mary and prayed for our deceased loved ones, as well as the deceased members of our club. It was an eye-opening experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to interact with fellow members of our community.

The annual report shows the growth of us by using words and graphics. We reflect what we have done in the year and come up with solutions to improve. Members will cooperate in thinking about the reflections, improvements, future plans of ME and even the design of the report, which greatly improves our teamwork and enhance our relationship during the preparation work.
Though our club have less members then other club , but this is the reason why we share deep bonds with our teammates , like we are in a family. Our unity came from our friendship and our belief and faith to our God , in our meetings we often share our fun school stories together , we enjoy laughing and learning about our community spirit!

在ME眾多好玩嘅活動裏面，我最鍾意嘅係annual reunion.
你可能會問，到底咩係annual reunion?
其實哩一個活動係由同區的聖母軍一齊舉辨嘅聯校活動。你可能會擔心話，吓會唔會好尷尬，很無聊架？
但你唔駛擔心！我當初都係咁諗，但原來呢個活動係好好玩架！
呢一個活動我哋會同其他聖母軍分組一齊玩好多唔同的遊戲，從而加深大家嘅認識，互相了解。雖然大家素未謀面，完全唔識，但係好多人都會好熱情去welcome你，所以唔使怕尷尬。其實喺玩遊戲嘅過程中大家互相交流，真係獲益良多架。
除咗關於聖母軍，我地仲會交流其他嘅嘢，好似校園生活等。另外，仲會有抽獎架！另一個好處就係你會識一啲其他學校嘅friends ，又或者遇見返，仲可以乘機進入唔同校舍，見識多啲添。我仲「偷師」學咗啲prepare呢一種大型活動有咩要留意嘅細節架。所以唔好覺得我哋個club好悶，冇咩活動。其實除咗哩個活動之外，仲有好多大大小小唔同嘅活動。想知到底有幾好玩就join我哋啦！大家可以一齊玩呢～期待喺ME 見到大家！

Our club have many fun activities to join with! Like we held a meaningful project with the whole school, our fellow schoolmates sewed beautiful blankets and send it as a gift to Prince of Wales Hospital! Girls who love handcrafts and good deeds are welcome to join :)

New members who joined less than 3 months, we will call them as "visitors". Because of the pandemic situation, we have to cancel the face to face oath ceremony this year. Fortunately, we successfully held the online oath ceremony after the delay. New members were officially named as "members" of ME. The oath symbolizes that they are willing to serve as a official member of Legion of Mary by following the rules and the spirit of Mother Mary.

In October and May, as a religious ECA club, we will be responsible to lead the rosaries at the grotto before the morning assembly. We will pray for different intentions with our schoolmates.

We visited our senior praesidium in La Salle College. We have learnt a lot from the senior members of Legion of Mary Hong Kong in terms of religious knowledge, the management of the ECA club. Moreover, we did a lot of sharing with the senior members. Our members enjoyed a lot listening to the stories shared by the senior members too.

After a year of holding online meeting, we were finally able to hold our first face to face meeting of the year after our final exams. We were very delighted to meet all the members face to face after a year!

During the short summer vacation this year, we were able to hold face to face meetings every Tuesday. All the members enjoyed a lot in doing sharing and actively participated in each of the meeting. Our relationship greatly enhanced during this period and the F.1 members showed that they have a great sense of belonging to the ECA club after joining for a year.

Apart from services at school, we have many activities outside! We prepared lunchboxes for the homeless at Home of Love. It is heartwarming to see them smile after receiving the lunchboxes. We can step outside and understand what is happening in our community. To me, ME is more than just an ECA club, it is a place where I have an ease of mind. A place where the sprouts of love and friendship grows. Join ME for more fun activities! :DD

ME雖然係一個宗教嘅club但係其實佢可以令你嘅日常生活充實好多。ME籌備咗好多活動，我當中就最鍾意Home Of Love。喺當日我幫手派飯係我咁耐以來都冇做過嘅事，喺呢次活動入邊我感受到自己究竟有幾幸福，因為我哋日常生活唔需要擔心衣食住行，所以我哋都要多多幫助身邊嘅人。
平時開會除咗會分享耶穌嘅信仰之外我哋會分享下自己嘅日常生活，開心嘅事。聚會除左係宗教活動外，可以話係心靈活動，大家可以抒發感情，壓力，傾下計，開心下。
好期待到時下年可以見到啲新嘅members，期待到時見到你加入ME呢一個家庭🤍
